Celebrate Halloween in Paris!

All Saints’ Day is a Catholic celebration, honoring the saints of the Catholic Pantheon, and celebrated on November 1st. Halloween, celebrated the day before, however, has no connection with the Catholic religion. It is the celtic New Year’s Eve, and this last night of the year was the death God « Samhain » night. According to the myth, during the night of Samhain, spirits and other ghosts would come back and haunt the houses of the living!
