The European Heritage Days in Paris

The European heritage Days are back on September 21st and 22nd! In the Ile de France alone, you’ll find more than 1,500 places to visit for free, and be able to discover their backstage … The Raspail Montparnasse hotel tells you more about it.

If you happen to really enjoy castle, museums, secret places, guided tours, historical walks or historical workshops … Get yourself ready!

Visit secret places

In Paris, some historical treasures open their doors only once a year: during the Heritage Days.

For example, the Senate exceptionally offers you to freely visit its buildings.

Do not miss the Lycée Henri IV and its rich history in the heart of the Latin Quarter, or yet the greenhouses of Luxembourg, a few steps away.

For a more artistic trip, discover the Beaux-Arts de Paris, freely or on a guided tour.

Visit unusual places

Looking for an unusual outing during the European Heritage Days? Give a try to the backstage of the winter Bouglione circus, or the Bormann-Moreno circus!

You can also try to solve the mysteries of the RATP, with a life-size treasure hunt ! Or yet have a thrilling zip-line ride from the Ministry of Economy – Bercy …

More original, immerse yourself in the heart of a traditional yet incredibly modern art: the puppet theater on the rue Mouffetard.

And if you’d rather go for the classics, visit the Pantheon, the Sorbonne, the Palace of Versailles, the Conciergerie, the Palais Royal, the Grand Rex, etc. for free.

We wish you all happy heritage days!
