« Glazart » is a former terminal bus station transformed into a concert hall, which becomes a place of light for the summer.
Indeed, LaPlage de Glazart settles every year at the Parc de la Villette to welcome 30,000 people.
Of course, the Hotel Raspail Montparnasse decided to go look into this beach more closely.
Imagine our surprise …
50 tons of the whitest sands, palm trees, countless deckchairs, petanque tournaments, blind tests, free outdoor concerts, pop up stage, giant bar, food truck, falafel trucks, merchandising shops, a vegetable garden in urban agriculture, clubbing afternoons, showcases, brunches … all in one and only spot!
This place is ideal for Parisians staying in the city and tourists passing by, dreaming of seashore, to enjoy a real beach in Paris!
It is also dedicated to music!
This pop up stage hosts all summer long live concerts and DJ sets. Emerging music and alternative cultures are honoured in LaPlage this year!
From house music to indie-rock, techno, disco music and world music, all styles are here! With a very sharp, eclectic, fun and original program, it’s a good mix of music in a festive and relaxed ambiance
Here, we can enjoy outdoors music while playing footsies in the sand, a drink in the hand!
To sum up, LaPlage de Glazart is a beautiful sunny pop up celebration of summer, very colorful with a great atmosphere, where we can drink, eat, listen to great music, meet people, enjoy life and enjoy being in Paris in Summer!
