“The World of Banksy”, a superb immersive exhibition dedicated to Banksy

Banksy’s coming to Paris! Have you ever dreamed of meeting this mysterious and socially conscious artist?

Until December 31st, the famous street art figure is settling down at the Lafayette Drouot exhibition centre.

Or at least his works, and reproductions of impressive wall-paintings… And since there is a good chance that these pieces will soon be hung on the walls of super collectors, take your chance and go see them as soon as you can!

“The World of Banksy – The Immersive Experience”

This immersive exhibition unveils on 1200 square meters about a hundred works by Banksy, the “art terrorist” who fascinates the world.

The exhibition is on three different floors, and features some fifty original works by the artist from private collections.

After this rather “classic” room, we are projected in Bethlehem, between the Israeli West Bank barrier and the Walled Off Hotel (Banksy’s hotel).

We then find ourselves in Paris, with the grieving young woman at the Bataclan’s door and the little girl painting on a swastika.

Afterwards, we cross New York, with major works from the installation “Better Out Than In” (Waiting in Vain; The street is in play; etc.) And finally, London, the birthplace of this quality vandal, as he likes to be called

Impressive murals, created in one month by a dozen street artists from all over the world, take us on a journey.

Recontextualized on real scales, with police sirens for New York or helicopter buzzes for Bethlehem in the background, these reproductions transport us into Banksy’s revolutionary world.

An artistic journey into a unique, committed and subversive Banksian universe.
