The Raspail Montparnasse Hotel improvement, always in Art Deco
Hereafter is a preview, with a few photos of our rooms renovated in the Art Deco style
We have completed the renovation of the bedrooms, hallways and reception. Ten months have passed between our architect receiving the initial brief and its realization.
Our goal was threefold:
- Reinforce our Art Deco identity
- Add sophistication to our decor
- and thus offer our guests a more elegant atmosphere, more like the 1930s
In the rooms, all textiles were changed as well, of course, as wallpapers and carpets.
Therefore, we turned toward brand-name fabrics expressing the Art Deco style we wanted.
We reworked the bedding to include a double pillow adorned with a cushion.
We also added a velvet tartan rug to give more elegance to the whole ensemble.
We found the bedspread fabric from the Zimmer Rodhe label.
The curtain fabric was found at Pierre Frey. Not to worry: it is lined with blackout fabric.
To be certain everything was well coordinated, we created mood panels putting together all samples of the various materials used in the renovation.
We therefore created five different combinations, one per floor.
We did not use any paint.
The headboard is topped with a rich panel embossed with an art deco motif in gold or silver tones ,highlighted by the neutral other walls.
We had to close one floor after the other, each for 2 to 3 weeks at a time and work went on for 6 days out of 7, from December to March.
36 of our 38 rooms are ready to be your home away from home. Our two Junior Suites should, in turn, be embellished in the coming weeks.
The carpets and hallway wallpaper were completely changed.
The sofas and armchairs of the reception and lounge were also changed. The bar area carpet will also be changed.
Unchanged prices !
This is the good news we have for you: all the changes we are making do not mean higher prices.
