What to do in Paris this Summer ?

In this column, we will tell you all about the beautiful museum of Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac, only 2 miles away from the hotel.

With its permanent and temporary collections from Oceania, Asia, Africa and the Americas, the Musée du Quai Branly arouses our curiosity and takes us on a journey far away from here. It creates bridges between cultures and peoples. With an international vocation, and in cooperation with the countries of origin of its collections, it is creating a dialogue between all parts of the Earth !

Within a few hours, we travel all around the world. From one continent to another, you go through time, ethnicities and civilization … Magical !

But then, will you tell me, why should we go there espacially in the Summer ?

Well, because every year, summer is carefully prepared in the garden of the Quai Branly museum ! We can chill in the alleys, relax on the deckchairs, and enjoy the animations of the “summer garden” !

Ideal for a cultural break while sunbathing in this beautiful green space in the heart of Paris …

For the 2018 edition, echoing the exhibition “the shop of the little explorers”, the garden beautifully set off the youth edition and the press. You will find there : introductions to the press, flipbook, comics and cartography, or workshops, culinary afterworks, storytelling, concerts … There is something for everyone !

The Summer garden at the museum of Quai Branly

From July 7th to August 31th of 2018, at the 37 Quai Branly, 75007 Paris

Access to the garden on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays from 09:15 to 19:30.

And on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9:15 am to 9:15 pm.

If you are coming from the Hôtel Raspail Montparnasse, take the bus 82 in the direction of “American Hospital” and get off at “Eiffel Tower”, 0,3 miles away from the museum. It will take about 25 minutes.
